Get WorkGear Updates & New Features: April 2024
Let’s delve into the freshest updates and features from Get WorkGear, all crafted to elevate your experience and seamlessly integrate with your tech setup. Without delay, let’s explore the exciting new additions awaiting you.
What’s New?
Sub-Categories Have Arrived
You can now add sub-categories that will share its parent categories allocation.
Imagine being able to split your project allocations into more detailed segments. Well, now you can! By introducing sub-categories, you’re able to distribute your parent category’s allocation across multiple, more specific areas. Here’s a scenario: You’re working on a marketing project and want to differentiate tasks between content creation and graphic design – sub-categories make this super easy!
The interface for building roles and allocations has changed to accommodate this new feature.
Remember those times when you wished for a more structured way to manage your team allocations? We listened! Our interface has undergone a transformation. Now, it’s designed to not only accommodate but also seamlessly integrate the use of sub-categories. This means you can categorize your work with much more precision.
This feature is useful, as it allows allocations within a product category to be split over multiple sub-categories.
Why is this update a game-changer? It’s all about flexibility and precision. Let’s say you’re managing inventory for a clothing store; you can now divide your allocations into men’s and women’s sub-categories. This level of detail helps not only in organizing your stock more effectively but also in tailoring your contracts to suit client needs more closely. This could be the edge you need to win more contracts!
1. Pops up a small window so you can name your new sub-category
We’re all about making things easy and intuitive. When you decide to add a sub-category, a friendly little window will pop up, prompting you to name your new sub-category. It’s as simple as typing in “Men’s Footwear” or “Women’s Shirts” – whatever fits your project needs.
2. You can still add products directly to the parent category
Flexibility remains a cornerstone of our system. If you prefer to keep things broad, you’re still able to add products directly to the parent category. This means you have the freedom to organize your workspace in a way that’s tailored to how you operate best.
3. Every subcategory has its own + Products button
Each sub-category isn’t just a label; it’s a fully functional and independent segment. With its own ‘+ Products’ button, adding specific items to each sub-category is straightforward. This ensures that every piece of your project is exactly where it needs to be, making management and oversight a breeze.
As part of this update, we have also added the product price to the information listed for each product.
To make your planning and budgeting tasks easier, we’ve included product prices in the item listings. No more switching back and forth between screens or documents to check costs. Now, every product you add or browse within WorkGear will display its price, streamlining your process and helping you to make informed decisions quickly.
We’re thrilled about these updates and confident they will make a significant difference in how you manage your projects and inventory. WorkGear is more committed than ever to improving based on your feedback. We’re excited to see how these new features help you streamline your operations, and we’re always here to support your journey toward greater efficiency and success.
Your thoughts and feedback are vital to us. Dive into these new features and let us know how they work for you. Together, we’re making WorkGear not just a tool, but a community where everyone’s input leads to shared growth and improvement.
