We’ve made some thoughtful updates to the Edit Company interface in Get WorkGear, designed to make it easier to understand, quicker to manage, and more connected to the customer experience.
What’s new?
A cleaner, more intuitive layout.
The company page layout has been reorganised for clarity. Options are now grouped more logically, spacing has improved, and tooltips provide helpful context. Whether you’re updating branding, managing employee rules, or enabling pickup locations, everything’s easier to find and adjust.
Checkout configuration just got smarter
The checkout options section has received the biggest refresh. You can now clearly configure how the client’s checkout page behaves, with options to show/hide or require key fields like purchase order number, contact phone, and comments.
Best of all, this section now includes a visual of the customer-facing checkout screen, complete with numbered markers that connect each section to the interface.
New: Instruction acknowledgement at checkout
A brand-new feature has also been added: acknowledgement of instructions.
You can now require customers to tick a checkbox confirming they’ve read your instructions before they place an order.
This helps ensure that important messages (e.g. lead times, sizing policies, delivery conditions) aren’t missed — giving you peace of mind and reducing order errors.
You’ll find this setting under:
Checkout page options → Require acknowledgement of instructions.
Why this matters
Easier navigation for administrators.
Clearer control over what clients see and fill out during checkout.
More confidence that customers are reading the fine print.
Visual cues bridge the gap between backend configuration and the frontend result.
