AI Solution For Ecommerce Workwear Sizing
A groundbreaking web application now allows for independent, flexible, & digital fitting during the selection of workwear. Utilizing Sizekick’s AI-driven technology – developed in collaboration with Hohenstein textile service provider Elis offers customers personalized size recommendations based on their individual body measurements. For the first time, Elis’ collaboration with Sizekick and its AI technology marks a significant innovation within the workwear sector. Sizekick’s artificial intelligence takes into account not only a user’s exact body measurements but also the specific fit of the chosen item. For product and fit analysis, Sizekick relies on Hohenstein’s expertise – a company with over 75 years of experience delivering customized solutions & know-how in testing, certifying, researching, and developing textile products.
The web application, created by Sizekick along with Elis, employs a two-step process to determine the appropriate size for customers: Initially, realistic body shapes are suggested and selected via BodyFinder. Subsequently, sizing is finalized using BodyScanner – a video-based body scan conducted via smartphone camera. This data is transmitted anonymously so only the correct clothing size reaches Elis. The entire user-friendly sizing procedure takes just a few minutes.
