Introducing Supermanagers: Greater Control for Uniform Approvals
We’ve just launched a new feature designed to streamline uniform approval workflows.
Until now, the Get WorkGear system supported two user types at the front end: Employees and Managers. With this latest update, administrators can optionally promote managers to a Supermanager.
What Can a Supermanager do?
A Supermanager has all the abilities of a regular manager, plus they approve or decline pending orders from managers who manage branches under their supervision. They can also place orders freely, no approval needed, ever.
You can configure managers to require supermanager approval before their orders are processed. Managers retain their ability to order and to approve or decline orders from employees.
This gives your organisation the flexibility to tailor approval flows, tightening control where needed, or simplifying ordering for trusted staff.
The below flowchart shows the order approval workflow.
Please note, this only applies to those ordering on account. Orders made using credit card payment are always submitted.
